The beginnings

Emmy and Pear met at Stanford. Both were 2x founders. Both were tired of being the only women in the room. Foundess was born to change that.

Oct - Dec 2024

Campus Takeovers

Hosted events at Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia. We teamed up with the top entrepreneurship clubs and filled rooms with ambitious women ready to build louder + bolder.

Dec 2024- Mar 2025

Hatch Accelerator

Launched Hatch Accelerator: 700+ founders applied from 15 countries. It culminated in a 3-day retreat and Demo Day in SF where startups raised $3M+.

Jun 2025

New York Tech Week

New York Tech Week: hosted a founders’ matcha cafe, an AAPI founder panel, and an intimate dinner that brought together some of the brightest builders in the city.

Hatch House

With the Residency, we launched our first hacker house in NYC. Founders lived, built, and brainstormed together all summer.

Foundess Summer

Foundess Summer took over NYC: the city’s biggest intern social, founder picnics in Central Park, rooftop charcuterie nights, co-working cafés, game nights, and more.
